Engine Mercedes-Benz (1904-1905)

The oldtimer, constructed in the beginning of this century, was supposed to be re-arranged for driving. It's original engine was still existing, bud badly damaged. As Mercedes-Benz did not have any replacement parts, an entirely new engine had to be built.

After having received the old construction drawings from Mercedes, we recognised that the measurements of the engine did not correspond to those of the construction drawings.

On order to be able to create the new model, our emplyees basically used the measurements of the constructuin drawings. When details did not correspond, they acted according to the original engine.Thus, it was possible to reconstruct the model of the engine in extensive work.

The engine casted from this model is still working to the entire satisfaction or our customer.
